Su altura, 58 m, nos dirige hacia Dios, en quien el hombre encontrar\u00e1 su verdadera destinaci\u00f3n. Durante la lucha por la independencia de B\u00e9lgica, la torre fue utilizada como lugar de vigilancia por el Rey Leopoldo I, para controlar las fuerzas de ocupaci\u00f3n holandesas en el Castillo Sur. Para evitar que ocurriese de nuevo el suceso de 1755, la linterna fue reemplazada por otra m\u00e1s s\u00f3lida en 1968-\u201875.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
